William “Bill” Orr, of Golden Eagle, IL, passed away Thursday, May 30, 2024, at the age of 78. Beloved husband of Donna K. Orr; cherished son of the late Marjorie and William A. Orr; devoted father of Michelle (Jim Stotts) Orr and Shannon Orr; brother of Robert Orr; treasured uncle, and friend to many at the Winneberg Club.Bill worked for Laclede Steel as an industrial engineer and an IT technician for over 30 years, and later retired from Alton Steel. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan, a lover of movies, a keen blackjack player, and a dedicated worker. More than anything, he was a loving husband to Donna for 52 years and a wonderful father to Michelle and Shannon. Bill was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all.Memorials may be made in Bill's name to the American Heart Association.All services will be held privately by the family.
