Raymond H. Schleeper Jr. Huntsville - Raymond H. Schleeper, Jr., 83, passed away on Friday, September 27, 2024, in Huntsville, Alabama. Born on August 9, 1941, in Hardin, Illinois, to the late Raymond, Sr. and Lucille (Sackman) Schleeper, Raymond grew strong roots in Calhoun County and St. Joseph parish in Meppen, Illinois that would continue to pull him back all throughout his life. His love for the scenic bluffs of Calhoun County was easily matched by his fondness for his community. Lovingly known as "Uncle John" to his immediate family, Raymond was regarded by all that knew him for his devout Catholic faith, kindness, and quiet generosity. Though he had a stoic presence about him, Raymond never failed to make a friendly acquaintance with anyone who was fortunate to meet him. Raymond had many proud accomplishments throughout his life.
