Rachel Ilene Slone, age 27, passed away unexpectedly in her residence on the evening of March 16th, 2025. She was born in Alton, IL on June 14th, 1997, to her parents Lynn (Charlton) Slone and Kenneth Slone. Rachel was a loving mother, daughter, sister, granddaughter, aunt, niece, cousin and friend.
Rachel was a kind and caring woman with a full heart, courage, and an everlasting joy to be remembered. She loved spending time with her family. She would often be found playing Dungeons & Dragons with her cousins or cracking jokes with her dad. Rachel and her mother were so close that they almost acted like sisters at times. She was also a good listener and liked to help people whenever she could. She was the one person her sister could talk to when writing her book series. They also enjoyed going to musicals and watching their favorite movies together.
